London Fashion Week Part 1

I've finished Fashion Week! Interning with a PR company was quite an experience. I delivered invites to half of East London and run across Leicester Square with £3000 of clothes in a bag. For Fashion Week I was then working at ME Hotel and assisting in some shows our company represent. I thought I would make a 3 part post including my own snaps and my top 6 designers the showed. Hope everyone else had an amazing LFW xxxxx

David Koma
I love the structured style he used, and who futuristic those bondage style panels look. The mesh pieces are my favourite and the monochrome palette adds to the simplicity.

Jasper Conran
I wonder if he watched his 'sex and the city' boxset when looking for inspiration? I though this catwalk walked right off the 90s and I love it. The simple spaghetti strap dresses and plain pump shoes with these long loose coats are so Carrie, and the colour palette (that orange!) is simply perfect. I can't explain how much I love this collection, I would wear ever single piece.

Mary Katrantzou
No digi prints? No bright colours? I couldn't believe it when i saw Mary's collection, it seems she's moved onto embellishments. Her inspiration was looking at various uniforms such as the Boy Scouts which is where the medallions and badge embellishments are from. I  think the collection is beautiful, especially some of the little dresses, and think it will be worn a lot of red carpet events.

run away

I've wanted some Nike Free Runs for so long, but just can't afford to justify so much money on one pair of shoes. I love this lime green pair- it's been my fav colour for a long time and think they would look super cute with my usual dark outfits. They would defo suit my internship right now, I feel like I've delivered invitations to most of London!!

Number 1 best thing about living with 5 other girls: a seriously huge wardrobe. Today I stole this beaut from Amber, I love it so much.

Today's a top day, got confirmation of my internship with a PR company in London! I get to work with them twice a week and over Fashion Week eeeeeeeeeeeeek.

stilettos in the street

coat//mango trousers//new look heels//topshop jumper//primark lipstick 104 passion//chanel

This is my crazy oversized mango coat I picked up in the sales for a mere £20. It's such a warm coat and I can throw it over any outfit for a little grunge effect. These nude stilettos are truley my best steal ever down from £58 to £9 in the Topshop sale!! Such a classic style that I love so much I want to wear them even when I go supermarket shopping. I hardly took this jumper off over christmas, the pastel blue makes it a perfect transitional piece for winter/spring.

ODF clothing

ODF clothing has recently been branded as One Diverse Fashion. It's clothing combines contemporary fashion with a 1980's preppy look, creating crisp shirts, blazers and polos. My personal favourite is the glasses and sunglasses the brand make. Such a classic style with big lenses and the ODF logo on the arm, available in classic tortoise shell or modern matte black. Their clothing is available for men, women and children and they showcased their looks in the recent event ‘The Rip the Runway UK’ which showed the layered, black skater skirt which I think is so cute. Check out their instgram, twitter and facebook!

pvc pink

cropped jumper//topshop pvc skirt//missguided watch//river island converse//office

I finally got my hands on this little pink pvc number from missguided and it was well worth the wait. The skirt is a really flattering fit and shape, although a bit big round my waist. I thought styling it down with converse in the day would make it a bit more versatile and ensure maximum wear-ability. I had also ordered the midi-length version but the fit just was not right on my frame, so not kimmy k style points for me today!
